This is a museum in an old school house. The museum contains a unique collection of records, artifacts and photographs dating back over 100 years.
The collection preserves and displays the history of the Upper Ottawa Valley, including the town of Laurentian Hills and Deep River. The museum showcases many facets of local history, people, places and activities along the Ottawa River and the Upper Ottawa Valley, which include natives, pioneers, rural communities, logging, transportation and technology.
This museum also features a train, and visitors can enter the caboose.
