Dundalk Olde Town Hall

The Dundalk Olde Town Hall is a historical landmark in Dundalk. The hall is over 100 years old and has an incredible charm.

It first began operating in 1904 and served as the home for the municipal offices. The bell at the top of the hall rang both in 1919 and at the end of WW2 to announce the end of the war.

Today, the building is still as unique as it used to be. So unique that the detail and character of the hall are not replicated by any other building in the area. It has tin ceilings and lovely tinted windows. The theatre has a balcony that can seat up to 200 people. If you are in the town, visit this historical landmark.

After graduation, she taught at a number of schools in Ontario and Alberta. She became increasingly active in the Ontario agricultural co-operative movement.

The face from the new $10 banknote

In 1921, Macphail was nominated to represent South-East Grey County in the Canadian House of Commons. She was elected to the House of Commons from 1921 to 1940.

Rawhide Adventures works out of Peace Valley Ranch, established in 1965 by the Cosack Family. They are a working cattle and horse ranch that offers visitors the chance to explore a panoramic hill countryside.

Rawhide Adventures provides visitors with the opportunity to partake in the ranch work but requires visitors to have some experience. Due to the type of work, they can only accommodate a few guests at a time.

Rawhide Adventures allows riders of all skill levels to help move cattle for rotational grazing management. If you are not interested in fieldwork, you can also help do pregnancy checks, separate calves, remove bulls, and other health-related work suitable for all levels of experience.
