Véloroute des Baleines

This cycling route is a tremendous 330 km long and borders the Saint-Laurent and multiple lakes, beaches, mountains, and forests. It follows Route 138, which runs along the Saint-Laurent and passes through the town of Baie-Comeau. The path is separated into six detailed routes to make it easier for people based on the intentions behind their trip. Each route has tourist attractions that guests can visit along the path. For example, there is the whale route where people can observe whales and other mammals and a birdwatching route.

Cyclists can find various restaurants, lodgings, and even ferries along the road of Véloroute des Baleines. Every year at the end of June, there is a challenging run where cyclists can test their limits and spend a whole day going through 100 km of the course. For those that want to take a leisure ride on their bike in the area, the six detailed routes offer different difficulty levels to accommodate beginners and expert cyclists. Experience de Véloroute des Baleines for yourself and take in the sights of the town!
