Open since 1980, The Sweet Shop is best known for their old-fashioned treats handmade in-house from creamy fudge to crispy brittle.

Located on the harbour, this local shop offers ice creams and other frozen delectables perfect for the summer, and a wide variety of candies to enjoy.

The Sweet Shop has also opened The Coffee Shop right next door which serves drinks, food, and baked goods such as sandwiches, hot and cold specialty coffees, and their fan favourite and Canadian staple, homemade butter tarts.
