The Quilt Place

04

The Quilt place is a full-service quilt shop carrying over 2000 bolts of quality cotton quilting fabrics, including batiks, Kona solids, the 1930s and 1800s reproduction prints, and William Morris prints. You won’t be in it alone with hundreds of quilting books and patterns. Though for those without the time to pick up the skill of quilting, ready-made quilts are available for sale, as well as custom orders. Enjoy quilt exhibits from artists like Henny Bremer, who recently had a showing of her miniature quilts titled “Henny’s Minis.” Participate in events like the July Shop Hop; prize money goes to the top three winners! Check out the website’s Quilt Event page for a listing of future events, or contact the owners. The friendly staff is knowledgeable in everything quilting and ready to help you get started.

The location is open Mondays to Saturdays, 10:00 to 17:00. Closed on Sundays and most Holidays. Due to inclement weather conditions, there is a possibility that the shop may be closed at other times, so call or email ahead to ensure they will be open.
