Springwater Conservation Area

07

Springwater Conservation Area comprises a campground, hiking trails, rentals, and day-use facilities. There are also many year-round events that locals and tourists enjoy. Visitors enjoy the annual Springwater Maple Syrup Festival in March, where wagon rides, maple syrup production demonstrations, and maple products are for sale. Springwater also hosts seasonal camping during its busy season, but it is highly recommended to phone in for reservations as it is first come, first serve. Overnight camping is also available from Victoria Day Weekend to Thanksgiving Weekend. The Springwater Schoolhouse, built in 1885, is the perfect venue for weddings, reunions, parties, and picnics. It is available for booking and opens for group camping. There are also two pavilions available for use with reservations from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving Day.

The Springwater Conservation Area Day Use area is stocked with a sandy beach and swimming area, pond, fishing area, and a boat launch. Bring friends and family to enjoy the canoe or kayak rentals, or bring the kids to the on-site playground!
