Shamrock Lanes & Lounge

09

Shamrock Lanes & Lounge has been a staple in the Airdrie community for decades and is an excellent place to have some fun with the family. Although the business has remained relatively unchanged over the year, it still has its’ charm and remains consistently busy; so be sure to make a reservation if you want to guarantee a lane. The bowling alley is located in the basement, but is very spacious and features twelve lanes of 5-pin bowling and also 10-pin by reservation only. All lanes have bumpers available, making it more accommodating for families with children. Note that the maximum is 5 people per lane.

The bowling alley has extremely friendly staff and superb customer service. Decorations are simple, but the place is very clean, from the bathrooms to equipment. The bowling alley features glow in the dark bowling on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons (recommended to wear white). The bowling alley also has a restaurant called “The Blarney Lounge & Kitchen” which is fully licensed and has a wide variety of beverages from beer, coolers, and spirits. Additionally, the kitchen has simple but delicious food featuring favourites such as nachos, wings, chicken fingers and fries.
