Moulin Banal

03

The Moulin Banal is a banal mill built between 1710 and 1737 and is one of the oldest buildings in town. Moulin Banal is located on the banks of St-Lawrence River.

This windmill is one of the last 18 windmills in Quebéc, Canada. It is a three-story cylindrical stone tower with a conical roof. The exterior and interior of the Moulin Banal are now classified as heritage buildings and archaeological assets since 1983.
