Miners Memorial Park

03

Recommended by Ken R

The park is dedicated to those miners who risked their lives to support the community and their families.

The park has a mining monument (which goes through the history of mining in Elliot Lake), Miners’ memorial (names of workers who died due to workplace accidents), a Heritage trail (Horne lake trail and Island boardwalk trail), and a museum (The Nuclear and Mining Museum signifies everything that happened in the mining field).
