Willow Wharf Park

“Nice little park to hang out at in Simcoe. Tiny beach and a small park area with about six picnic tables, so if it’s busy, they’ll most likely be taken.”

Home Town of Jim Carrey

Jim Carrey, a Canadian actor, comedian, impressionist, screenwriter, and producer, was born in nearby Newmarket. His family settled in Jackson’s Point in his late teens.

According to his own testimony, at age ten, Carrey wrote a letter to Carol Burnett of the Carol Burnett Show pointing out that he was already a master of impressions and should be considered for a role on the show; he was, as a child, overjoyed at receiving the semblance of a formally written reply.

Max Beach & North Gwillimbury Park

Park is very nice, with lots of tables for a picnic, and big trees provide enough shade.
