Ecole De Rang II Authier

06

The historical monument, École Du Rang II, has welcomed pupils to study at this school since 1937. Now the schoolhouse holds regular tours for anyone interested in the impressive collection of period objects and authentic architecture. Visit all the rooms, from classrooms to the head mistress’s apartment. Put yourself in the shoes of a student in the 1940s with the interactive experience offered here. Sit at the wooden desks and play school with questions from classes like geography, arithmetic, and French.

Those who don’t finish their homework will have to answer the head minister and the inspector. In the summer months, be transported to the Proulx mansion for a theatre performance. Keep your eye out for any creative workshops and special events on their website; most are offered every summer Saturday. Their Facebook page will also announce events like outdoor film night on a giant outdoor screen, accompanied by popcorn, hot chocolate, and tea.

Testimonial from Local Guide, Daniel Freve, Google Reviews:

Beautiful tourist attraction! The personal is passionate about their work and knows the school’s history.”
