When you enter Wiikwemkoong, you will be welcomed with the spectacular views of Manitowaning bay. Amongst the area’s beautiful lookout, you should stop to enjoy the lush green Buzwah lookout. This is also the starting point of the Wiikwemkoong historical tour and has a plaque stating the 1836 treaty. If you want to lead yourself to the Manitowaning Hiking trail, where you can enjoy shoreline fishing for the rainbow trout fish, or you can just sit and relax with the mesmerizing views of the beautiful scenery. You would also want to keep your eyes out for the majestic bald eagles as the bay is a home to them, who knows when you might see one!
