Bonaparte River

01

Legend has it that Cache Creek got its name from the many travellers who hid their “cache” along the river bed. As far as we know, a “cache” has never been found. This makes the Bonaparte River quite intriguing to many treasure hunters. Who knows what type of wealth is hidden somewhere along these banks. If you don’t have any luck finding the hidden treasure, there are plenty of places in Cache Creek to buy yourself a gold pan so you can try your luck and find a nice golden nugget in the river.
