Berg Lake Trail

09

Berg Lake Trail is a world-renowned backcountry hiking trail. It offers opportunities for all types of hikers, from beginners to those who are most advanced.

Berg Lake Trails has a variety of campsites available, which are great places to set up a base while you explore the area during the daytime. All campsites can be reserved in advance, which is recommended for this highly sought-after experience.

The Berg Lake trail has a gain of around 800 meters in 23 kilometres. This trail traverses three biogeoclimatic zones and will bring you face-to-face with some of the most pristine and stunning nature you have ever encountered. The trail takes you past alpine lakes, the Valley of Thousand Falls, and three massive glaciers.

If you are lucky, you may see chunks of ice freeing themselves from the Mist, Berg, and Robson glaciers and falling into Berg Lake. Berg Lake Trail offers an adventure with some of the best views in the province, making it an absolute must-do for your hiking and camping bucket list.
