Powles Head Lighthouse

Powles Head Lighthouse is a historical lighthouse in Trepassey. The lighthouse was built in 1902 and was originally just a small wooden tower. In 1925, the wooden tower was replaced by a metal tower, with all the lighting equipment staying the same. In 1960, the tower rusted and was replaced by the building we see today, and it has now become a one-person station. From visiting the lighthouse, visitors will be able to learn much more historical significance and experiences that the lighthouse has been through.
