Terra Nova National Park

Located on the island of Newfoundland and Labrador, Terra Nova National Park includes 400 km2 of park grounds where land and sea are so enchanting they compete for your attention.

One of Canada’s most easterly national parks, Terra Nova, has plenty of magic for you to explore! From its boreal forests to outdoor theater, the park offers camping, hiking, paddling, and fishing. It is well-known for its numerous hiking trails, with plenty of land to cover. The breathtaking views of Terra National Park are like no other – if you are ready for an adventure, this is the place for you! Like most of Canada’s national parks, there is an entrance fee (daily or annual).

The Beaches Arts & Heritage Centre

Located in the town of Eastport, just under 25 km from Terra Nova, the Beaches Arts & Heritage Centre is one of Newfoundland & Labrador’s picturesque destinations. This center includes year-round performances, concerts, and festivals that reflect the cultural aspects of the town. Opened in June 2001, the Beaches Arts & Heritage Centre also offers visual art exhibits, presentations, and workshops. Looking for a place to cool off in the summer heat? Splash “n” Putt Resort has what you’re looking for! Located just minutes from Terra Nova National Park, this destination is Newfoundland’s Premier Attraction Park. It has a waterslide that stands about 360 feet high and is one of the busiest attractions to Terra Nova.

Taking an average of 46 minutes to complete and covering about 2.3 km of land, this trail is considered to be moderately challenging.
