Peace Island Park

Our first stop in the beautiful small town of Taylor, BC, is the peaceful Peace Island Park! This RV and tenting campground is open throughout the spring and summer and is the ideal retreat for your family and friends. The camp features 40 non-powered sites and 57 serviced sites, along with 24 fully serviced sites for campers to utilize in affordable price ranges from $20 – $80 per night.

The facilities available in the park include playgrounds, trails, picnic and cookhouse areas, firewood, an outdoor pavilion and bathrooms. The park requires all campers to observe certain rules: leashes on pets, quiet time at 11 pm, and no fireworks or firearms are permitted.  This campsite is the perfect spot for your outdoor experience in Taylor!

Lone Wolf Golf Club

This next spot is perfect for the sophisticated soul in you! The Lone Wolf Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course paved in the beautiful green Taylor valley.

Taylor Speedway

This next spot gives you the need for speed!  The Taylor Speedway is a racing dirt track located on the outskirts of Taylor, perfect for an evening of enthusiasm, competition and community fun! The race car track features room for four to eight cars per class, and people of all ages, starting from 16 and onwards, race in friendly and competitive races! This is the perfect spot for an evening of fun and racing in the town of Taylor.

Big Bam Ski Area

Winter month visitors should bring their skis and take a weekend trip to the volunteer-run Big Bam Ski Area. The 12-acre ski and snowboard hill is open every weekend and offers slopes for all skill levels. If you take a trip outside of the winter months, you need not worry: the hill hosts many more events in the fall and summer seasons. The slopes are perfect for mountain biking events such as the Big Bam Vertical Slam and the Giv’r to the Riv’r races.

Visit outside of event times to take independent trips through the area’s hiking, running, and mountain biking trails. If you’re searching for a unique and scenic event space, the area is available for booking weddings and parties.
