Troll Park

Themed after the Scandinavian heritage of the town, the troll park is a beautiful park to walk around, have a picnic, and learn a little bit about the Scandinavian history of Viking. Throughout the park, you can find various statues and images of trolls on top of other Scandinavian items, such as a Viking ship and Scandinavian plants.

Camp Lake Park

Salvage Trails Loop

This fabulous, scenic trail displays the unique beauty of Terra Nova, Newfoundland and Labrador. Parc du Centenaire

This lovely memorial park has a large shaded canopy as well as picnic tables and benches, making it a great spot to visit for lunch or a quick coffee if you’re in the area.

Visitors can read through posted materials and learn more about the area’s rich history. There is also a water bottle refill for runners or bikers.

Club de golf La Madeleine

Club de golf La Madeleine is a haven for avid golfers and novices alike. Prices are reasonable, and they have two 18-hole golf courses to present a challenge for any level of golfer. The greens are beautifully maintained and are particularly nice in the fall when the leaves change colour.

Once you’ve finished a round of golf, their clubhouse and cafe serve our tasty meals and Canadian classics.

Huron Fish & Game Club

Huron fish and Game Club was originally chartered in 1940 and is a member of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. The club owns an 80-acre farm where members can utilize a 100-yard and 200-yard rifle range and a 3D archery course.

Members can enjoy fish and Game Wings on the first Friday of every month.

Bannockburn Conservation Area

The Bannockburn Conservation Area has recreational trails which are almost two kilometres. It includes six different natural communities: Wet Meadow; Eastern White Cedar; Deciduous Forest; Old Field; and Mixed Scrub and Marsh.

The Bannockburn Conservation Area also allows fishing as long as you have a fishing license and follow all relevant legislation.

Clinton Raceway

Clinton Raceway used to be under Clinton Kinsmen in 1970 and was eventually given to a board of directors in 1983. It was then that Clinton Raceway Inc was formed.

Clinton raceway allows guests from all over North America to wager on the racetracks. If you can’t make it in person, don’t worry! The races can be viewed live on TV.
