moulin de Beaumont

This is a true gem that showcases Quebec’s cultural and agri-cultural food heritage. With beautiful scenery to accompany the delicious food, baked goods, and coffee served at moulin de Beaumont, this mill offers a terrace to lounge, eat, and spend quality time with family and friends. The bakery and cafe provide daily fresh baked bread, as well as famous cereals, wheat bread, and their original black olives, cheese, and dried tomatoes.

Église Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse

This fine institutional complex, including the presbytery, is in the heart of the village of Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse. It was founded in 1739, one of the oldest in North America.

The wooden statue of the great Archangel Saint Michael slaying the dragon is the work of sculptor Louis Jobin (1845-1928). Located opposite the church, it has protected the faithful for nearly a century.

A local cheese store humbly run by a family business, this shop offers a variety of quality cheeses without modified dairy ingredients. Each ingredient is associated with names that represent the magnificent region.

The show-stopping cheese found here is the Fleur St-Michel, which is a garlic flower grilling cheese. In addition to the delicious cheeses found here, the shop offers divine pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, and sweets – all hand-made by the pastry chef. Lots of time and effort go into each item made, and if you are looking for a delicious treat to taste a bit of Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, this is the place for you.
