North Hatley Pier

“The North Hatley Pier is a beautiful flower-lined wooden pier that leads to a pagoda overlooking the lake.

Within the pagoda is a stone carving (donated by Stone of Ages) showing Lake Massawippi and a few of the main points around the lake, including “Wippi,” the Massawippi lake monster that was once rumoured (maybe still) to live in the lake (kind of like the Loch Ness monster).”

North Hatley Marina

If you love being out in the water, go to the marina to rent equipment like kayaks, paddle boats, and canoes! If you prefer staying dry, simply enjoy a nice walk or bike ride around the lake. Regardless of your choice of activity, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful scenery and experience a sense of therapy that comes with being out in nature and moving at your own pace.
