Enrico Winery

Along with many other awards, Enrico Winery is the proud owner of Vancouver Island’s first and only Lieutenant Governor’s Award of Excellence in British Columbia Wines from 2015, by their Tempest Ortega. The winery is 50-acre and nestled in Cowichan Valley.

They host a popular tasting room, events, and shows at the winery. Enjoy a perfect pairing of music and wines, or host your wedding here. The venue is beautiful and is known for its gorgeous atmosphere out on the patio.

Unsworth Vineyards

Bamberton Provincial Park

Bamberton Provincial Park is an ideal spot for families with members of all ages. Children can swim in the warm waves where salmon fishers have been fishing for years, while parents can lounge and relax at the inlet or beach area. This park is a forested environment known for its abundant arbutus trees, Canada’s only broadleaf evergreen.

A vehicle-accessible campground is available for visitors to stay in overnight. Canoes and kayaks are allowed in the inlet. Visitors will be able to see wildlife full of eagles, osprey, waterfowl, and seals. Families can also enjoy their lunch on the dozens of picnic tables available. The park’s location is convenient and close to other tourist attractions, such as Malahat Drive and Butchart Gardens.

Mill Bay Marina

You will find the Mill Bay Marina located northwest of the Saanich Inlet on Vancouver Island. Fuel sales, long-term and short-term moorage, and transient moorage are open on the marina, with reservations recommended.

Guests can join Malahat Nautical Services for whale watching tours, SCUBA diving, fishing charters, and water taxi. There are also several other packages fueled with adventure to enjoy the gorgeous scenery and outdoor activities of the Pacific Northwest, in the ocean or on land. Mill Bay Marina offers sunset cruises, wine tours, and sailing excursions. There is an event going on for everyone!

Bridgemans Bistro

Bridgemans Bistro is a waterfront bistro on the beautiful Mill Bay Marina. They have a West Coast-inspired menu with a dine-in and take-out menu for any time of day. The brunch menu includes chorizo hash, veggie benny, and Belgian waffles.

They also have burgers, pizza, soup/salads, pasta/bowls, and ribs on their “After 5 PM” menu. There are also local beers on tap and a selection of Cowichan Valley’s best wines. This restaurant is perfect for family gatherings, relaxing dinner dates, or solo meals. Enjoy delicious meals full of locally sourced ingredients, with many homemade items. A dinner paired with a view of the Saanich Inlet and Mount Baker is hard to miss, with the lucky opportunity of seeing local swans or a possible whale watch.

Mill Bay Beach House

Right on the north of the Mill Bay ferry, you will find Mill Bay Beach House. Enjoy this location’s beautiful view of the southern Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. This beach house is conveniently located near Victoria Airport and Butchart Gardens by the ferry, which a thirty-minute drive can also access.

Visitors reviewed the location as memorable and equipped with sunrise views and Mount Baker. Seals can be seen playing in the inlet at the coast life. The waterfront overlooks the Saanich Peninsula and Salt Spring Island, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Westcoast. The views of this accommodation are unbeatable.

Westcoast Fish N Chips

Westcoast Fish N Chips is your classic fish and chips restaurant in Mill Bay. This locally-owned business has your seafood favourites, including cod, muscles, shrimp, halibut, and haddock.

Enjoy fresh fish as a taco or burger, with a side of poutine made with in-house cut Kennebec potatoes. Customers can also enjoy some delicious coleslaw, crispy chicken strips, and homemade clam chowder (usually limited, so check with your server).
