Marmora Memorial Park

Steps away from the main town, this waterfront park is a great place to enjoy time in nature year-round. The park has several picnic tables, a playground and a splash pad for visitors. There are several nearby spots for fishing, and the peaceful sounds of the river can be heard from almost anywhere in the park.

This park features a cenotaph, and there is also a peace mill nearby. There is also a walking trail with scenic views of the Marmora natural beauty.

Marmoraton Mine

This is a great spot to learn about the history of mining in Marmora. There is a fenced lookout as well as several short trails that are open year-round.

Since 1820 Marmora has played a leading role in the development of iron mining. The mine, which has been flooded and filled with water, is now a lake with rich blue colour from the minerals in the area. The area has spectacular views of the water, nearby forests and rolling hills.

Callaghan’s Rapids Conservation Area

This unique spot is a great place to go for a hike or just to enjoy some time in nature. The conservation area makes a great place to stop for a picnic with the family, with several scenic stops along the river.

In the warm months, visitors can swim in the warm, shallow water and even cross over the rapids. There are plenty of birds, wildlife, and native plant species. Just a short walk from the rapids, there is also free parking for visitors.

Horsin Around Riding Ranch

This is a great place to visit for horseback riding, trail rides and pony rides if you’re in Marmora, Ontario. The animals are beautiful and well-behaved, and their staff can cater to any skill level.

There are several riding trails to explore with scenic views of nature and wildlife. The grounds are well-kept, and there is also a campground that is a great place to visit for the weekend.

Crowe Valley Campground and Resort

Crowe Valley is the perfect spot to spend a weekend swimming, fishing, or enjoying outdoor time. They have cottages available for rent, complete with everything needed for a weekend in the wilderness, and rental spots for RVs or tents.

The cottages are well-kept, and there are plenty of activities, including water sports, beach access and fishing. They also have concerts and performers on certain weekends during the summer.

Legion Park Beach

This well-kept public park beach is a great spot to enjoy a warm summer day. The slow river has warm water for swimming, fishing, and water activities.

There is also a dock and a few spots to launch canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards. There is fun for the whole family as the beach has several shallow areas to swim.

Booster Park

Booster place is a beautiful park in Marmora that is open year-round. This is a great spot to go for a picnic or a swim in the warmer months.

There is a small, quiet trailer park and a boat launch for visitors. The park has stunning water views and is a great place to watch the sunset over the beach.

This is a great way to learn about the Marmora area and its natural beauty. Thrill Seeker ATV tours have guides that will take guests around exciting trails and historical landmarks. There are swim breaks during the warm months and several scenic stops to take pictures.
