Visit this interactive center in the middle of a northern town. It gives families travelling across HWY 11 a place to stop. It’s a very informative center about the history of the area and northern Ontario.
Nice free exhibition on the region’s first nations, gold mining heritage, forest fires and local biodiversity. Native artwork is displayed and for sale with a small but impressive collection of regional minerals.

Macleod Provincial Park is beautiful for biking, boating, hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, and bird-watching.
Popular attractions include the scenic Macleod Trail for hikers and a sandy beach for swimming.

Kenogamisis Golf Club features the beautiful scenery of rural Ontario, great food, and a well-maintained 9-course hole. The course measures approximately 6,648 yards and caters to golfers of all skill levels.
Additionally, the golf club offers a driving range and practice green.

This hiking trail is nicely maintained and very accessible for beginner hikers. Located by Kenogamisis Lake, the hike features varying wildlife, such as Osprey and the Great Blue Heron.
