A key annual event in the village is the Leoville Trail Riders Rodeo. This amateur rodeo features events such as steer riding, team roping, calf roping, chicken racing, mutton busting for children, ladies’ calf throwing, and two nights of outdoor dances.

Chitek Lake Golf Course provides scenic nine holes of golf in Northern Saskatchewan. Located amidst fairways and mature spruce, pine, and aspen trees, the scenic views are unforgettable. It is uncommon to see wildlife, such as deer, while visiting Chitek Lake Golf Course.
