McCaskill Park

McCaskill park is one of the largest recreational areas in Crossfield and has many attractions. From softball diamonds to soccer fields, McCaskill park has something fun for individuals of all age groups. There is also a skatepark, a hardball diamond, a 400-meter track and a community center.

Banta Park

The exciting Banta Park was established in 1918. It has multiple play structures for different ages and a Splash Park and waterpark for those hot, sunny summer days. The water park opens at the beginning of summer and closes during the month of September.

This large park additionally contains a newly renovated tennis and basketball court, offering hours of fun for the whole family.

Banta Park is centrally located just around the corner on Railway St. and Limit Ave. Make sure to visit the park while in this area to have some family fun.

Collicutt Siding Golf Club

This golf club is host to a delicious clubhouse, where you can eat mouthwatering breakfast or lunch before golfing on the large & beautiful course.

The golf club offers an unforgettable golfing experience for all ages. There are two different 9-hole layouts, both easy and a bit more challenging, adjusting to the liking of all. You can freely practice your golf skills and even challenge the staff for a game. The Collicutt Siding Golf Club also offers training for gold if needed. Don’t forget to visit the club with your friends for a fun and exciting golf experience!

The Donut Man

The Donut Man is an affordable yet delicious restaurant with multiple different desserts and foods, including cinnamon rolls, donuts, pretzel buns, pepperoni cheese sticks, and many more.

 

The coffee shop also offers drinks, such as milkshakes, coffee and hot tea. This coffee shop is surely a town favourite, with its donuts being the ultimate specialty. The shop is even a nut-free facility but does use coconut. Don’t miss out on these delicious desserts; visit the place during your stay.

Stacked Bistro and Bakery

The Stacked Bistro and Bakery offers all different kinds of meals and desserts. From cookies, specialty coffee, slush puppies and ice cream to smoked meat sandwiches. The bakery originally started as an online cookie shop owned by Debbie Stiles, whose passion was cooking. It eventually developed into a small business run by Debbie Stiles.

Make sure to support Debbie and try some of her delicious treats during your trip to Crossfield. You will not be disappointed!

The Diner at Shorty’s

The Diner at Shorty’s is a restaurant located in Crossfield, Alberta. It has a variety of meals to choose from, from appetizers to salads to sandwiches and burgers.  The restaurant has many different options to choose from and accommodates the likings of many. The diner offers a kid’s menu for children to choose what they would like. It is run by a couple who had 23 years of experience in the restaurant industry before opening up this restaurant. Don’t miss out on the delicious foods served by this small restaurant.
