Cranbrook History Centre

Take a step back in time at the Cranbrook History Centre. The museum is home to a collection of restored classic railcars and locomotives.

It’s also the site of the Royal Alexandra Hall, initially built in 1906 as the Café of the Royal Alexandra Hotel in Winnipeg. A model train layout is featured in the museum resembling the Canadian Pacific Railway and Canadian National Railway as they travel through the landscape of BC’s Kettle Valley.

See how this railway town came to life in 1905!
