For more than 100 years, the Colonie des Grèves de Contrecœur has offered an enchanting site on the shores of the St. Lawrence River. If you want a relaxing place to freshen your mind, your search is over. This is an excellent place for family time.
You can hike and breathe in the fresh air. An excellent picnic site with a magnificent view of the river. You can also walk on well-groomed trails and enjoy the nature around you.

If you are interested in historical things, visit this Contrecoeur windmill, a flour mill built between 1742 and 1745. It is one of the last of its kind in Quebec. You must visit to learn more about its history and its mechanism. It is located in the Moulin Chaput park, near the river.
During your stay in Contrecœur, you should visit one of Contrecoeur’s historical monuments, the Maison Lenoblet-Du Plessis. The Maison Lenoblet-Du Plessis was opened to the public in June 1979.
