This lake, approximately 16 km in length, was formed over 10,000 years ago and was once part of a glacial sea. It is now a fantastic place for boating, fishing and other water activities. It is also popular for locals to go swimming, with two people even swimming across the lake in 1923 and 2017.

This local brewery right near Muskrat Lake is open all year round. Visitors can dine in and enjoy a variety of foods, a fantastic atmosphere and various beers, the most popular being the farmer’s daughter. Along with its sister location, found in Forester Falls, the Whitewater Brewery also offers apparel and spirits for sale.

This family-friendly vacation spot offers a variety of accommodations and activities surrounding Astrolabe Lake. It features five giant waterslides, a splash pad, large water trampolines, mini-golf and paddle boats for you to enjoy. While only open from April until October, Logos Land Resort is a great place to enjoy the hot summer sun.
This beautiful 18-hole golf course is a great outdoor activity in Cobden. There are plenty of tournaments to participate in and other leagues that are run throughout the summer. Some of these include a family night on Wednesdays and Sundays, Ladies night on Tuesdays and Men’s night on Thursdays. There is also a great clubhouse with food and a banquet hall to enjoy.
This quaint Local coffee shop serves various and even specialty drinks such as latte Cappuccinos and London fogs. They also serve baked goods, including cookies, muffins, scones, loaves of bread, donuts and coffee cake. If you are looking for lunch and breakfast needs, they also have a variety of sandwiches and bagels.

This local chip stand overlooks Muskrat Lake and serves a variety of foods, including tasty poutine, burgers, pita chips, hot dogs, chicken fingers and fish and chips. This chip show is also known for its terrific staff and fast service. However, this chip shop is only open from April to October, so make sure not to miss it.
