Since 1963, every year in February, Briercrest College and Seminary, located in Caronport, has hosted a teen youth conference known as Youth Quake. Briercrest is a private Christian post-secondary educational institution.

This local recreation site is just a few minutes away from Caronport. It offers a tranquil oasis with a stocked, spring-fed pond, sandhills, large campsites with trees, and a natural swimming area. You can even spend time with your family and friends birdwatching or fishing.

Appleby Park has a lot of greenery, where the kids will love to play. You can bring snacks to eat at the picnic tables, and there is even a covered eating area with tables in case it’s too hot, or it starts raining. But most importantly, you will appreciate the wooden train play structure.
There is also a spray park across the street, with swings, slides, climbing tunnels, and a water park. Going to the park would be ideal for your kids to get active and run around.
One of the highest-rated hotels, Pilgrim Inn, is a peaceful place to stay while visiting the different tourist attractions in and around Caronport. Pilgrim Inn is within walking distance from Briercrest College and Seminary, Caronport High School and the Barkman Hockey Arena. In addition, the Pilgrim Inn is halfway between Winnipeg and Calgary, making it a perfect stop on your drive across the prairies. The hotel offers RV parking as well. Breakfast is included.
