Bay Bulls Lighthouse

Built due to the town’s thriving inshore fishery, the Bay Bulls lighthouse is an 11.8 meters tall cast-iron tower. The structure was built in 1906, but the first light was lit in the Spring of 1908. It was equipped with a fourth-order lens that showed a white light for seven seconds followed by three seconds of darkness. The tower also has a wooden keeper’s house connected through a covered passage. Visitors can hike to the top of the hill to witness the historical monument against the gorgeous views of Bay Bulls.
