Ballantrae Golf Club

The gorgeous scenery visible to you from the Ballantrae Golf Club is surely unmatchable. Not only is the serene environment breathtaking, but the structure of the golf club building is also appraisable.

Patterson Tract

The Patterson tract is a 2.9 km loop trail with a continuous, easily accessible route. Locals often use the trail for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking, among other activity sports. A trail is a beautiful place to take your dogs on an evening walk or to take your baby for a small stroll. The pure, oxygenic atmosphere of the tract is sure to create a sense of relaxation.

Halltract

The 3.9 km long trail holds a magnificent view. A small water creek leading up to a small pond has beautiful tiny fishes and other animals. You may even see a deer or a mouse roaming around the trail. The versatile species of plants and animals are surely a bonus. This beautiful, accessible trail is located just near Whitchurch – Stouffville, Ontario and is surely one of the finest trails in the area.

Don’t forget to make a brief stop at this tract when visiting the town. Who knows, the brief stop may turn into a long layover.

Eldred King Woodlands

The serene Eldred King Woodlands trail holds a considerably easy route for completion and is located just near Whitchurch – Stouffville. The tract is a popular attraction for hiking, running, biking and birding.

Whitchurch Conservation Area

The Whitchurch Conservation Area is about an 11-hectare property in Whitchurch – Stouffville. Since Ballantrae is a small hamlet located in the town of Whitchurch – Stouffville, the Whitchurch Conservation Area is located within the original town itself. With human-induced changes being made to the property, the population of plants and animals was moving steadily towards elimination. After the restoration, plants have matured, and the forest has successfully grown.

Georgio’s Pizza & Grill

Georgio’s Pizza & Grill is a small, greek owned business in the local area serving handmade pizzas, souvlaki and burgers. Although the restaurant is walk-in only, it is quite popular, especially on the weekends. The town locals relish the food, and the reviews on the restaurant’s official page suggest the same. Don’t forget to pick up one of their homemade pizzas!

Simpson Family Farms

Our farm is a 7th-generation family farm in Stouffville. The farm has been in our family since 1845. The Simpsons immigrated here during the Irish potato famine, and we were originally dairy farmers.

During the summer, Simpson family farms heads to farmers’ markets growing and selling potatoes, sweet corn, broccoli, cauliflower, beans, lettuce, kale, zucchini, eggplant, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, onions, beets, squash exclusively for their farmer’s markets. You can also pick up most of the root vegetables and honey from our farm, which is open six days a week—closed Sundays.
