A fishing pond where fish are stocked yearly? Located at the east end of Bashaw is the trout pond. Every spring, typically before the Victoria Day long weekend in May, the Alberta Conservation Association stocks the pond with 600 rainbow trout as part of the Enhanced Fish Stocking Program. Open to the public during the day; this large fishing pond is only accessible on foot.
