Tisdale Rambler Rodeo

As the first event on the Canadian Cowboys Schedule, Tisdale Saskatchewan welcomes the Rambler Rodeo.

An annual event that brings the carnival of the RBR world to the heart of rural Saskatchewan. The event features all the typical rodeo events, sights and sounds in a rustic country setting. Attendees will be treated to competition and spectacular sights, with the township amenities only minutes away.

Kipabiskau Regional Park

Be sure to visit Kipabiskau Regional Park while you are in Tisdale for the opportunity to catch a glimpse of some amazing sights. The park is situated on the north shore of the lake and is home to varying types of wildlife.

The environment is not only scenic, but it also provides you with many different activities to take part in. If you are visiting during the winter, you can partake in some ice fishing or can hop on a snowmobile. During the warmer months, you can camp on-site, golf, or engage in a few paintball rounds.

Dog hide River Trail

While visiting the town of Tisdale, make sure you take a scenic walk along the Doghide River Trail. This trail provides a beautiful path along the river where you can appreciate the plants and flower beds that guide the way.

You can decide to walk, bike, or ski through this trail if you stop to observe the trout pond from the boardwalk. If you need a break while exploring this trail, you can have a seat under the gazebo which provides a pretty view of the river.

Tisdale & District Museum

Visit the Tisdale & District Museum for a fun and immersive learning experience about the history of the town of Tisdale and its surrounding areas. There is a variety of great displays to explore throughout this museum.

Different rooms within the museum occupy a separate theme to share a certain story about the events that occurred in this region. The friendly staff will answer any questions you have about the artifacts on display, and you will leave the museum with a great amount of new knowledge. On the way out, you can also play a few rounds of mini golf for some extra fun.

RECplex Aquatic Centre

If you would like to spend some time by the pool, the RECplex Aquatic Centre is a must-visit during your stay in Tisdale. This public swimming area is fun for people of all ages and has a diving board, a slide, a hot tub, a second pool with a basketball court, and a pool for children. There are many water toys for kids to experience some added amusement. Additionally, there is a friendly staff that also offers swimming lessons for individuals of different ages.

Stop by the Tisdale Lions Heritage Campground if you visit Tisdale in an RV. This RV campground offers many services and provides access to water, washrooms, showers, and even a fast-food restaurant.

From this site, you will have access to hiking and cycling trails and the ability to observe the wildlife in Tisdale. The campground itself is beautiful, and you will not regret visiting.

Visit the Jones Wildlife Sanctuary while you are in Tisdale to walk through some self-guided trails. The beautiful trails will guide you along a scenic path where you can explore and observe the wetland habitat. You can spot various bird species, some of which are highly unique.
