With over 350 km of groomed trails in the area, Bancroft is a snowmobiling hotspot.

Home to the abundant snowfall, the town has grown several snowmobile clubs. The Highland Wilderness Tours offer guided outdoor tours of both Bancroft and Algonquin Park. There is more than just snowmobiling too; horseback riding, dogsledding, and ATVing are also available methods of touring the trails.
