Cottonwood is a mansion dating back to the 1860s. It now functions as a museum and venue for several annual events, such as Christmas Afternoon Teas and car shows. Come to the museum and learn about its rich history while participating in a tour or educational programme. For those looking for a site to camp, visit Haldimand Conservation Area. Several quiet campsites have a pleasant lakeside view of Lake Erie.

 

Haldimand is also a popular spot for birdwatching, where you can view migratory birds as they pass by. The site features several hiking trails for you to explore the area. Close to the conservation area is Peacock Point, which features a great view of the lake and playgrounds for kids to play.
