World’s Largest Pinto Bean

If you are new to Bow Island, be sure to meet the town mascot, Pinto MacBean. Since Bow Island is famous for the dry edible bean industry, the town mascot is a bean. The statue at the centre is an 18-foot-high statue of the mascot. The statute was designed by Jane Osborne and was made public in 1992.

Visit the Visitor Information Centre nearby before you begin your stay at Bow Island. Be sure to stop by the centre for helpful information about Bow Town and to take a photo with their town mascot! The centre is open at different times during the year, so check when they are open before stopping by.
