The Parade of Garage Sales is an annual event at the beginning of May that kicks off the garage sale season and is one of the largest in the region.  Some seniors suggest the sale has been taking place in Langdon for forty to fifty years.

Depending on the weather the number of individual sales can range from two hundred to fifty percent of the houses in Langdon.
