The Lewisporte Heritage Centre is a multipurpose centre located right on the coast of Lewisporte. The centre holds the By the Bay Museum, the By the Bay Craft Shop, and the Hann’s Point Player. The museum houses artifacts that were used throughout the history of the town. It is also a place to hear stories about the history of Lewisporte told by the people who lived through them, and the craft shop sells various pieces created by local community members. These include jewelry, home décor pieces, knitted goods, and more.

Besides the museum and shop, the centre is also home to Hann’s Point Players, a theatre group that puts on plays throughout the summer. There, you’ll be able to find dinner theatre production for both kids and adults and lunch hour concerts being put on. So, check out what may be playing during your time there.
