This cultural and tourist center is more than a museum, as it preserves and promotes Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean’s heritage and furthers arts and history. Located in the heart of the city and surrounded by a beautiful park, La Pulperie is an outstanding historical site. At the beginning of the 20th century, this museum tells the story of the Compagnie de pulpe de Chicoutimi and its impact on the region and city.
