This museum was incorporated in 1980 with certain goals in mind. It was meant to provide the necessary infrastructure for the preservation, cataloging, restoration, and display of artifacts, records, and other objects related to the exploration, settlement, development, and impact of the railroads in Komoka and the surrounding area. A portion of the historic Canadian National Railway station was converted into this museum.

The structure was relocated to its current location, next to the Komoka Community Centre and north of the CNR rails, after being bought as a museum in 1978. You don’t want to miss the rich history of this place. Visit them; they have a steam train you can check out!
