Michaud Toys

Michaud Toys is a family-owned and operated business run by the parents and three sons of the Michaud Family. The store focuses on creating board games, toys, clocks, cutting boards, and memory boards that are all made from wood.

Wood craftsmanship has been part of their family legacy for generations, so the family aims to continue that legacy with Michaud Toys. Today, they focus mostly on traditional wooden board games that can be passed on as heirlooms. Examples of games include Dice Poker, Sequence, Frustration Rummy, Travel Tile Rummy, Checkers, Chess Set, and much more.

Concession Road Brewing

Concession Road Brewing Co is the first craft brewery in Haldimand County. It is also home to the first taproom in the county. They began operating in 2018 with only three beers on their tap but now have 8!

The taproom is not only home to some of the best beer but also various events throughout the month, such as comedy shows, trivia, music, and more. Aside from beer, they also offer various food items such as lemon pepper twists, warm salted pretzels, edamame hummus, and black bean salsa. The best part is that if you live in Ontario, you can order online, and they will ship to you!

Devine’s Restaurant

The Devine’s Restaurant has been family-owned and operated for over 20 years. They sell homemade Heat N Eat meals, soups, and desserts made at the Jarvis Community Centre. These sales are only made once a month on a designated Friday, so if you are in town, then make sure to stop by!

Devine’s restaurant aims to use local suppliers as much as it can while using high-quality and fresh ingredients. Examples of these fresh meals are apple crisp, cream of potato & bacon soup, beef barley soup, beef lasagna, cabbage rolls, turkey dinner, and many more delicious homemade meals.

Envious Sport Fishing

Envious Sport Fishing aims to provide clients with a fishing experience. The fishing takes place on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Although Envious Sport Fishing does not guarantee that you will catch fish, they guarantee that you will get bites; if they don’t, your next visit is free!

Clients are taken to the fishing area by the Ranger 621, which is operated by Captain Corey. Clients are also equipped with the latest fishing gear that will play a role in them catching their fish.

Something cool about the business name is that it was named after Captain Corey’s late brother’s company “Envy.” The idea was that, eventually, when the business becomes successful, people would be “Envious.”
