Naming this vineyard after the Zulu word meaning happiness, owner Tom wants this location to be filled with happiness. He has been making wine since he was a teenager in Africa. Tom has used methods he learned while visiting the Cape Province of South Africa wine regions near where his grandfather lived.
Today they have eight varieties of cold climate vines numbering just over 11,000 on 11 acres of the farm.
