The local museum first opened its doors in 1963 and takes pride in preserving the regional history of the town of Hudson and its surrounding areas. Its mission is to bring awareness and educate people on the local history of Hudson, along with the legacies left behind by its past residents. In other words, it is the perfect place to learn more about previous pioneer families, historical buildings, and the early colonization of Hudson.

They have a substantial collection of records and manuscripts, articles, and books, along with audiotapes and photographs about Hudson’s former inhabitants and homes. Various exhibits on site, such as Hudson’s Greatest Generation, allow guests to expand their knowledge through informative banners and slide shows. Many activities and events are hosted throughout the year at an affordable price. Take a trip down memory lane by visiting the Hudson Historical Society museum!
