Drafted in the second round for the 1971 NHL draft to the Boston Bruins, Curt Ridley went on to play for 3 teams with a combined total of 104 games.

Curt was born in Minnedosa in 1951. He raised in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Curt Ridley was the first player to ever be drafted from a Tier II junior A league. Ridley never saw the ice with the Bruins and was traded to the New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Vancouver Canucks.
