Bleasdell Boulder Conservation Area

Are you a rock fan? Or do you simply enjoy taking a walk surrounded by nature? If yes, the Bleasdell Boulder Conservation Area is just the thing for you! The trail is a loop which is 1.5 kilometres long and is considered easy.

The trail is home to North America’s largest glacial erratic, estimated to be 2.3 billion years old. Additionally, the trail includes visiting the Bleasdell Boulder, which measures 13.4 metres long, 7.3 metres wide, and 6.7 metres high. That’s one massive boulder!

The conservation area is also home to various plants and animals, such as beavers, rabbits, weasels, raccoons, foxes, deer, and reptiles. If you aren’t much a walker, you can also go bird-watching, fishing, and geocaching.
