East Arm is known for its captivating views of the Great Slave Lake near Fort Resolution. The scenic area consists of beautiful tall cliffs with a 180-meter gap that reaches Great Slave Lake.

East Arm also has access to a 50 km trail to Pikes Portage. The current condition of the cliffs was caused by the glaciation in North America. It is an excellent tourist attraction for planning an outdoor expedition, especially during summer. Tourists and residents of the North can enjoy kayaking trips, fishing, hiking, and exploring scenic and wildlife views.
