Chippawa Park is a great space for anyone to unwind and relax. The park has great features, such as paths with accessible walkways, a splash pad, lots of nature and greenery, playgrounds, etc., making it ideal for families, groups, or even those spending time solo.
The set, a bronze statue featuring Ablan Leon, Leon’s Furniture founder, sitting on a couch with two recliner chairs and a coffee table, was unveiled at the Chippawa Park Rose Garden in 2009. Welland is the town where Ablan Leon got his start. He started the iconic department store chain on King Street.
Whether you visit to go on a walk, read a book, check out the historic monument, or even just sit and think, Chippawa Park has a place for everyone.
