Immerse yourself in nature at the Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area. With its scenic mix of woods and lakes, the 480 acres of woodland attract diverse birds and other wildlife, such as moose, deer, beavers, and more. It is a popular location for hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders in the summer, with over 14 km of trails to enjoy. In the winter, these trails are groomed for cross-country skiing.

Facilities in the area include washrooms, picnic areas, fire pits with firewood provided, a gazebo, a playground, and a launching area for non-motorized boats.
