If you’ve got a 4×4 and want to see some fantastic views, Buse Lake Protected Area is a must-visit near Dallas for any daring adventurer. Once you reach the end of the 4×4 road, it is only a short but sketchy hike to the top.

Visitors rave about the beauty here but also warn that the hike is treacherous and can be dangerous. Proceed with caution. There are steep cliffsides and loose edges… one wrong move, and it’s game over… even still, adventures love this spot and keep coming back for more. Bringing children or dogs here is not recommended. Safe Travels!
