Micromusée du Plan Bouchard

Micromusée du Plan Bouchard is a small museum open during the summer season in Blainville. It is naturally designed to harmonize the exhibitions with the area’s natural beauty.

The museum opened in 2016 and has since been educating and informing its visitors about the history and beauty of the region. It is a unique museum compared to others because of its minuscule size and how easily it harmonizes with the natural beauty and environment surrounding it. It is easy to stumble upon if you take one of the many breathtaking trails in the town.

This is a free attraction, and one highly recommended to check out if you want to learn the history of the grounds in Blainville.

Défis-Défis

Défis-Défis is a fun challenging activity for ages 5-75 to take part in Blainville. The self-described amusement centre helps develop teams with team activities that must be completed to gain keys to advance further. To complete these, you can have teams from 3-6 players until the hourglass runs out.

This fun centre is created and themed around the show Fort Boyard. Definitely something worth checking out when in the area. Also, depending on the number of keys you collect through your trials, you can receive different prizes after returning them at the end!

Prohibition Bar a Biere

Recommended by Azile Y.

If you are more in the drinking and bar scene of events, I recommend checking out Prohibition Bar a Biere! Open from 3 p.m. until 3 a.m. on weekends and 11 a.m. until 3 a.m. on weekdays.

Serves at the bar are knowledgeable about the products they sell and have a wide selection of products for customers to enjoy during their visit. It’s decorated to a period and committed to what they call the ‘Prohibition Project’; most of the beer they offer, which is 200+, is locally from Quebec. If you are in the area and looking for a bar, definitely check this one out!
